Hoodia
Gordonii Diet Pill - Does it Work?
The
new diet pill that kills
your appetite, ups your
mood, and gives you energy.
When western drug companies
learned the San people of
South Africa have been using
the Hoodia plant successfully
as a natural appetite suppressant
without unwanted side effects
they got excited.
The new HoodobaT Hoodia
diet pill reduces appetite
and helps you lose weight,
organic with no synthetic
or artificial appetite control
agents, and no known side
effects, contains a miracle
molecule (up to 100,000
times more powerful than
glucose) that fools the
brain into believing you
are full, and even helps
stop you from thinking about
food.
My experience after trying Hoodia was very good. I liked it, so I wanted to find out which company was best. Hoodia really did eliminate my appetite, so much so that I forgot all about eating. I also like that it doesn't give you the "jitters" such as those associated with other so called appetite suppressants than contained ephedra and/or caffeine. It is not going to eliminate your appetite entirely but it can help with the runaway appetite and inappropriate hungers. |
Appetite Suppressants Work When You Let Them
The trick with reducing your appetite is being in tune with your appetite to start. In other words, you need to recognize when you are hungry and when you are full. You also need to exercise discipline in stopping your eating at satisfied instead of past full and doing this more often. It's okay to overeat on occasion, but if you overeat nearly every day, then changing that one habit can create what seems like effortless weight loss.
If you eat way past full now, you'll probably continue to eat past full with Hoodia or any other appetite suppressant, so work on that issue first by learning to EAT (Eating Awareness Training).
Session 5 of One More Bite's 8-Week Ending Emotional Eating weight loss program is about Eating Awareness Training. Spend at least one week paying attention to what you really want to eat (do you want something cold or warm, crunchy or smooth, spicy, sour for instance), and learn to tell the difference between too hungry and not hungry at all and everything in between. Once you recognize your hungers, then using herbs like Hoodia can be very helpful.
Use Hoodia to Learn about Hunger
You can also use herbs like Hoodia to help you get in touch with your hunger. It's similar to when you are not feeling well and you lose your appetite. Many will try to eat anyway, thinking that will make them feel better but if the body is saying it doesn't want food, there's a fair chance it doesn't need food right then (this is not medical advice, but meant for those occasional unwell times). The tendency is to think we need far more food than we really do.
Start now by paying attention to whether you are hungry every time you get something to eat. Ask yourself, "Am I hungry?" and then, "What's my hunger level?" and rate your hunger on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being not hungry at all, and 10 being so stuffed you're sick on the floor. Try to distinguish the 2's, 3's and 4's because there is a difference, and then eat at 2's and 3's more often, and work on finding something else to do when you're at 4's and 5's.
Using Hoodia or Gymnema sylvestris (herb that eliminates ability to taste sweet) when you've reached that 4 or 5, and then using EFT, "Even though I want to eat more right now, I deeply and completely accept myself," can work if you let it.
Send $2 for a sample of Gymnema sylvestris, and don't forget your mailing address! Sorry, I don't have any bulk Hoodia, so no samples of that but the Gymnema sylvestris can be fun to play with since it temporarily eliminates the ability to taste sweet. The interesting thing is people won't use it; proving they aren't really ready to lose the weight at all! Interesting ... that leads to using EFT on not really wanting to lose the weight, or wanting to eat anyway, or any number of other issues which are best resolved using EFT methods such as you'll learn in the workshop.
Weight loss is a process and takes many twists and turns. Don't be in such a hurry that you miss the journey.
Hoodia I've Tried and Liked:
- Hoodoba ($47.95, 400 mg/90 capsules)
- Desert Burn with Desert Burn capsules ($37.95, 750 mg/120 capsules) and King Hoodia ($57.95, 1500 mg/90 tablets). As of May 2005 Desert Burn has best shipping offer too (only $2.99 for express shipping), although that can change at any time.
Products I tried and didn't like:
- Source Natural (national brand found in local stores)
- Hoodia Health (unknown brand, also found in my local store).
Your results may vary. For me I'd rather pay the shipping charge and get a superior product. |
